Medical Directors

Jon Beauchamp, MD, is residency trained and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and successfully completed a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology and Medical Toxicology.  He has been practicing Emergency Medicine for over 20 years and continues to do so today.  For over 10 years he has been a member of the clinical teaching faculty of both the University of California at San Francisco and Davis.

 

Dr. Beauchamp joined AMFS as a medical expert in 2003 and has been reviewing cases and serving as an expert witness since that time.  In addition he has recently taken the position of Associate Medical Director at AMFS.  In this capacity he provides consultation, review, guidance and testimony to attorneys.

Jonathan Feinberg, MD has over 40 years of experience practicing general Family Medicine.  He has special interests in Geriatrics, having been Medical Director of Skilled Nursing Facilities for more than 25 years, and in Addiction Medicine and was co-director of a Chemical Dependency Unit for several years.  He has also been a Professor of Family Medicine at University of California, San Francisco and University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine. 

He has been working with AMFS for more than 20 years as an expert witness in his fields.  He has also been a Medical Director at AMFS, consulting with attorneys about their cases, clarifying issues, evaluating merit and recommending other experts since 2007.

Dr. Feinberg has also been a consultant for the California Board of Medicine for over 25 years determining potential breaches in the Standard of Care and consulting on decisions regarding licensure of physicians in California

Rahul Khare, MD, MS is residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine and successfully completed a fellowship in research.  He has been a practicing ER physician and a faculty member at Northwestern University Medical School.  Dr. Khare has authored more than 40 scientific articles, book chapters, and other publications and is recognized as a thought leader in his specialty.  He has received extensive grants from the Department of Health and Human Services.

Scott Seidman, MD, FACEP is Board Certified in the specialties of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. For over 25 years, he enjoyed a full-time practice in Emergency Medicine.  During that period, he spent more than 10 years as Medical Director for two urban community medical center Emergency Departments.

Dr. Seidman has served as an expert witness and reviewed cases for nearly 20 years. Dr. Seidman has been working with AMFS as a medical expert since 2006 and has served as an AMFS Medical Director since 2008.In addition to providing consultation, review, guidance and testimony to attorneys, Dr. Seidman has worked as a Qualified Medical Expert and a Physician Consultant for the Medical Board of California.

Physician Advisors

AMFS' Physician Advisory Panel conists of more than fifty physicians with substantial medical-legal experience representing all major specialties.  The Physician Advisory Panel performs Initial Case Review services providing our clients with acces to the broadest and deepest panel of seasoned physicians anywhere.  The panel offers a very cost effective initial case assessment with the primary reviewer matching the specialty of the area of medicine being investigated.  In other words, have a cardiologist with substantial medical-legal experience review your cardiology case and a neurosurgeon review your neurosurgery case, etc.
