Non-Recourse Case Funding
Medical malpractice cases are expensive and time consuming. It is not unusual for counsel to spend upwards of $50,000 to $100,000 on a complex malpractice case, nor is it unusual for defense counsel to delay settlement to the eve of trial in an attempt to outspend opposing counsel and obtain a more favorable settlement.
One method for ensuring the necessary funding in complex medical malpractice cases is non-recourse funding. In effect, a third party loans counsel's client all of the funds necessary to litigate their case in exchange for a fee with the understanding that if the client recovers nothing the obligation to the lender is extinguished.
Because AMFS can thoroughly and authoritatively analyze your case, you will be in a much better position to obtain non-recourse funding for those cases that are deemed meritorious and have sufficient potential value. AMFS has relationships with the best non-recourse companies in the U.S. and we are in a position to champion your medical malpractice case.
