Vince Cole is the Chief Executive Officer of Ontellus, the nation’s largest records retrieval and claims intelligence provider serving insurance carriers and law firms at a national level. Ontellus has offices throughout California and across the country with its headquarters in Houston, TX. Prior to Ontellus, Vince Cole served as CEO of Charles Taylor US, a leading provider of claims solutions to the United States and global insurance markets. He also previously served as CEO, Americas, and Global Chief Strategy Officer at Crawford & Company and held executive positions at Activa Medical and Genworth Financial. He also spent 10 years at General Electric, serving in senior leadership roles in GE Financial, GE Plastics and GE Capital.
Michele has played an instrumental role in AMFS’ journey since joining the team in 2001. As Director of Client Relations, she is responsible for handling all administrative aspects of our clients’ cases, in addition to overseeing new case intakes, existing client referrals, and interacting with our Physician Medical Director team. A seasoned medico-legal professional, Michele ensures the success of our case management service, supervising our existing team and hiring new case managers. Michele graduated from Brown University and earned her law degree from New York University. She uses her extensive legal knowledge to ensure AMFS delivers the highest quality service. She’s passionate about cultivating strong working relationships with both AMFS clients and experts.
Stephanie Chomyk joined Keais Records Service, now known as Ontellus, in 2002 as a Customer Service Representative in the Houston office. Before joining AMFS in 2018, she applied her legal knowledge in roles spanning customer service, account management, client setup and customer success management. Stephanie obtained her Paralegal Certification from the University of Houston, where she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Ani Shehova has a track record for ensuring clients and experts maximize the value of their engagement. As an AMFS Case Manager, she oversees a case’s administrative tasks and liaises between attorney and expert, streamlining the process for both parties. A paralegal graduate from San Francisco State University, Ani earned her law degree in Bulgaria before moving to the U.S., in 2013. She currently resides in Walnut Creek, California, where she enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with her two-year-old son.
Judy Chang joined the Expert Relations team at AMFS in October 2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She also holds a degree in sociology. As an Expert Relations Coordinator, she works closely with the business development team and AMFS medical experts to locate case-winning experts for clients nationwide. Outside of work, Judy enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, discovering Southern California food, and learning new languages.
Lauren Koch joined the AMFS team starting in August of 2022. She comes to AMFS with many years of legal experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in 2017 from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice with a specialty in Victim Studies. She gained knowledge by working at firms that specialize in mass tort, litigation, and auto accident matters. Not only is she well diverse in the legal field, but she worked on the Hurricane Harvey project with the state of Texas and FEMA. Lauren’s paralegal background and legal experience is what helps her excel in the Business Development Manager role. Newly married with her first child, Lauren is dedicated to her growing family and growing with the AMFS team.
Cambria Pinal joined Expert Relations team at AMFS in May 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. As an Expert Relations Coordinator, she works to vet and on-board the experts to the AMFS panel. Cambria has worked in a law firm in Orange County where she coordinated appointments for plaintiffs to be seen by expert witnesses throughout California. Outside of work, Cambria enjoys swimming, running with her dogs, road trips, and watching documentaries.
